- About The Artwork
- Wonderful Navajo hand-crafted "Golden Eagle" feathers dangle and gleam from 14 kt gold round "raindrop bead" posts.
The feathers are each ornamented at the quill wrap with two round red coral beads. They are carefully detailed using saw cut and scribe and gently curved in a mirror image of each other making a bright and beautiful statement on someone's delicate earlobes!
Great for the coming holidays!!!
- About The Artist
- The Navajo were the first of the Native Americans of the Southwest to learn silversmithing from the Spanish. Most Navajo jewelry emphasizes silver, with turquoise stones used as an accent. Some pieces are cast in sand or tufa molds, while others are hammered, using a male stamp and a female die.
