About The Artwork

A great view, without the hike! The prints are mounted on a smooth surface and then sprayed with a protective coating. The black finished wood frame allows the image to sit a little over 1" from the wall.

About The Artist

A resident of Jerome, Arizona Tom Narwid earned a Bachelor in Chemistry from Seaton Hall University followed by his PHD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the University of Vermont with postdoctorate work at Wayne State University. Gainfully employed in the pharmaceutical industry, he left Vermont in 1970. Narwid's transition into photography began innocently. Having looked for the kind of photographs he had in mind for his office, Tom finally procured a camera of his own to use while fishing. Fishing gradually took a back seat to his interest in taking photographs. Narwid's photographic recognition has landed his work on television as well as in National Geographics magazine.
