About The Artwork
Awesome labor went into this beautiful cuff bracelet by Zuni artist, Gloria Acque. This meticulously crafted silver piece is set with five rows of hand-cut natural fine turquoise - a total of 85 stones hand set in a band of blue, as attractive today, as it was when Gloria Acque made it in 1975. The inside is signed with her mark "G. Acque".
About The Artist
Grace Acque is a Zuni artisan whose execution employing needlepoint turquoise stones is as pristine as any of the most talented jewelers of her day. This talented silversmith is acknowledged in the most recent edition of Barton Wright's Hallmarks of the Southwest.
