A simple oval collar of silver (entirely hand-shaped without use of a mandrel) kissed with an embossed silver button flanked by a raindrop on either side, each bearing an stamped inset design. Two pairs of parallel lines border each silver band.

Another subtle enhancement is the metriculous rocker engraving edging the embossed silver button.  This technique is seldom seen in contemporary Navajo handwork.

The beautiful oval shape helps them present well with any linen.

Although this expressive fellow lacks his right foot, he conveys a satisfied countenance !

Cream-slipped with black and red painted design, this figure sports a band of feathers encircling the pot in his lap, plus cheek decoration and an emblem representing the sun atop his head.  His ears are pierced partially through.

Had this figure been complete, its price would exceed $500.  A similar figure is depicted on page 93 of Anderson's book When Rain Gods Reigned.
