Sophisticated, beautifully planned and executed, matched serving fork and spoon by Navajo artist, Austin Wilson.
The back of the fork handle alone bears his bow and arrow mark--indicating this was made as a set--possibly salad servers.
I have never seen more precise or perfectly matched hand stamping. The stamps are Mr. Wilson's own and the material was hammered out of poured and rolled ingot silver. Working only from the 1930's through the 1950's, the style of those times can be seen in the traditional but uncompromising designs, which are at home in any setting.
An ideal wedding or anniversary gift--maybe even a gift to yourself. Home should be a sanctuary where the body and soul can revel in and be healed by the beauty of things used every day.
