Immaculately executed contemporary silver cuff using strips of silver carefully soldered on end to form polished, parallel bands against a black background. These are interrupted in the center by a single bright blue oval turquoise stone and framed on either side a 1/4 round edge. The beauty of this piece lies in its visual simplicity, but it took consumate skill to achieve.

It is the work of Navajo artist, Johnny Mike Begay and bears his mark JMB. He worked for Dean Kirk, John Kennedy and White Hogan. From Houck, Arizona, he is now deceased.
